Looks like it is nice and sunny over there! Not so much here, though...

Yep summer ended yesterday - the chickens were giving me grief earlier about the rain, slush, wet snow.... hahahaha - I told then suck it up kiddos its only April.

I had to laugh though this morning I opened the door they all stampeded to the door and came to a screeching halt! BAWK BAWK BAWK BAWK..... I wonder what they were saying hahahahahahahaha!

Even the chickies didn't want to go outside today

A lot of them have crazy combs. I don't care whether or not the comb should stand up straight or whatever the breed standards are. I just like them because they are chickens, they make me breakfast, and they're cute.

Hmmmmm well that first part of the message was supposed to have photos of my wee silkie X - seems my iphone is still not wanting to behave.

Agreed on the 'because they are chickens' bit they make me laugh and yup they are cute

I have noticed that at roost time she is very nice to the other chickens and moves out of their way to let then on the perch, even though she is the alpha hen from the looks of it.

Yesterday it was 27C (80F)

Today it's 6C (43F)

My chickens are just so whiney today with the bad weather - grumpy grumpy grumpy!
