I would switch em out for sure, you are correct I wouldn’t want rotten eggs. :sick

I think it would be simpler to let her sit on the ceramics but I think she knows they aren’t real and shoves them in the corner 😂 To smart for her own good!

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. A whole new adventure and me this broody business!

I am gonna see how it goes and let her behavior guide my choices.
I have two sitting on 2 golf balls and this morning I chucked 4 eggs under them for the day so they can feel like they are accomplishing something.

This evening I will remove the eggs and leave the golf balls. Its hilarious - I will find that there are golf balls under one, then the other, then one each.... I am curious to see what they do with 4 eggs and 2 golf balls.

It’s like that old magician’s trick of cup and balls. 🤔

I’m hesitantly making out my grocery store list. I don’t like going to town and the stores do not deliver to my house.
With chooks on my mind, my list ends up being:
Raisins, corn on the cob, cabbages, etc.
maybe I should get some stuff for myself this time too?
YES

Bread (whole wheat is best), cheese (not that processed crap), bacon (a little is ok now and then), lettuce & tomatoes (to make the BLTs), bananas, pears, papaya (actually any fruit you enjoy), veggies (frozen is best as you can use what you need and keep frozen), meat.....

stay away from anything in a box or plastic package - those are processed foods and not good for you or the chooks (my kiddos eat all our left overs).

Tax will need to be paid with later when my internet behaves. Just posting baby and Thristy Thursday photos was a chore!

But come Midnight I will dazzle you all with wonderful chicken photos - stay tuned!
