@RoyalChick

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kitty Éowyn

Do you have any baby Éowyn pictures?
I feel sure those would cheer me up no end and as I am feeling sorry for myself today that would be nice!
Here are some Caturday baby pics of HRH Princess Frogger, hope they also help you feel better. (Even though her ear tufts are no where near as long and luscious as Eowyn’s.)

Can't wait to see what she hatches; they will be so cute.

All dozen and half of the eggs I gave to my friend to hatch failed to hatch - all 18 eggs - 12 Silkies, 6 from the other hens :( Incubator issue likely.

So I am collecting more for her this week. I only have Marty and Henny Penny laying now (for Silkies), and Martina is the only Marty chick so far.
Oh no! Had she candled them at all? Did they try to develop but just not make it all the way? I hope she solves the incubator issues before you give her any more.

I do not think being out front harmed her in any way. What do you mean by poorly? Is she sitting off alone feathers all fluffed up lethargic? Or is she just maybe not eating as much as she should.

Sophia's crop is always mushy in the evening, my other gals to varying degrees have hard or soft crops - over time I have learnt what is normal for them. If you have some scratch grain give some of that - it will fill up her crop and take a while to breakdown and move through digestion. At her age I wouldn't worry about giving too much but don't put out loads of it. 1/4 cup scattered around so both of them can 'hunt' for the seeds will do.

I would watch very closely and see how she is doing. Remember Blanche was laying all sorts of soft shelled eggs last year. This year her eggs are ok - so far!

OK I will make sure to keep an eye out for updates from you.

♥️💕
She's back to normal this morning. I was worried.

She was first out of the coop and into her feed, she's not eating much of the feed but ate cucumber and mixed leaves.

I gave her the water of honey and salt last night then made her have some of my homemade yogurt before bed.

I couldn't believe the improvement in her
