I know you are hoping for a broody hen soon. Do you know anybody who has a incubator? It might be time to think of incubating some eggs yourself if you wish to have some of Jaffar's offspring. I wish you were closer, I would hatch them out myself for you. At this point I could even give them to a Broody to hatch and rear as Bunny has went broody in the last week.
That is actually a great idea - an incubator to get some of his wee ones out there, and if in the meantime one of them does go broody shove the chicks under her!

Be careful what you wish for. I swear it is contagious. Goose and Gryffyns are almost a week old now. Momma Hen and Holly could have theirs start hatching as early as tomorrow. Holly has started talking to her eggs this afternoon so they are on their way soon. Bunny went broody about 5 days ago, for the 2nd time this year and once again sitting on nothing.
I wish that Henny Penny would have gone broody a couple weeks ago - I would have shoved these chicks under her - she is actually very tolerant of them. They steal stuff from her, peck at her beak like chicks looking for food... I half expect her to peck them but she hasn't, I am very surprised. Marty was having none of it and told Martina to buzz off with a peck on her back!

I thought that they were not laying. I was wrong!
Hmmm maybe I’ll check around here. Maybe they’re laying somewhere else? Of the four Buckeyes, there’s an egg every three days now. They will be three years old beginning of July. I don’t want production breeds, and if they’re healthy this is best for them, but I confess we just used the last six eggs on four hardboiled eggs, and two for a batch of brownies to bring to a memorial tomorrow. We’re going to buy eggs on the way back!
