Is it the butt or the umbilical - take a pic and post here so we can see it.

From the picture in the emergencies section it looks umbilical. It does not look as bad as the chick I had prolapse, there appears to be no intestines involved so there could be hope.

Of course she is perfect, she has tassels on her legs. Even if every feather was out of place and she looked like she had been electrocuted those fancy legs of hers would make her perfect.

I bet when it was wet the umbilicus was a tempting target for the others to peck at - chicks they peck at everything - eyes included!

I am sorry about the prolapse. I wish I could offer advise but I have only dealt with prolapse once and it did not end well. The chick was hatched out in my last incubation and it had not entirely absorbed the yolk sac. Another of the chicks drying off in the bator must have spotted it as they pecked and pulled before I could separate it.

Idk what happened, I noticed what appeared to be dried on poop. So, i got a warm damp balled up Kleenex and held it on wiping gently, no progress so I set it down beside me and looked up to see where Brownie was and then I looked down to see the chick run to Brownie but there was blood. I scooped it up its clearly tissue hanging. All of this happened in the space of two minutes.

hahaha - she is cute - can't remember what breeding she said she was though.

Whiskey started squawking by the house and I could hear another couple in similar sounds out by the coop. Went out to find out who/what ruffled feathers

After looking around a bit, I noticed this

Turkey vulture....

Then I saw several more...heard a crow up there too...

Eventually birds circled higher and drifted off. Went town to check on those by the coop. All fine. On way back to the house, this started (mind you, the plan is for them to go into the freezer later today)

It migrated across the yard

I kept moving too, trying to stay out from in-between them.

At this point, Whiskey was calling the girls under the lilac bush way from the fight. The bush is off screen to the right

The spent some time separated by the bush, then headed back towards the coop, Kren pausing for a drink at the spigot tire.

When they got back out where it started, they went at it again, this time taking it into the olive trees. I went inside to make brunch. Now they need time to settle down and flush the adrenaline out to avoid tasting gamey. Epic pics but confirmation that the freezer is the best place.

OK well keep it dry and warm in that bator, I bet it's the umbilicus. if you can make a little nest for it with papertowel or something that it can cuddle into and stay warm and not stressed that would be good, do not put a friend in with her. It will likely peck at it. As long as no tear with internal organs involved then all should be ok. Hopefully.

The other chicks would peck it 100%. I have it separated in my incubator. I will give it food and water and all my hope.

Yup - that's just dangerous for any hens that get in the way. Or babies if you plan on any.
