It was the umbilical I am 100% positive. Its been snipped with no further bleeding. The area has been thoroughly dabbed with Vetericyn and a bit of blue kote to help hide the spot from his siblings.

Baby is back with mama de-stressing from my fussing. I have hope the wee one will be just fine.

I however may need a strong drink

You know what I already said which may not be for polite company but I stand by those words

Yes the guy at the farm I got them from told me they were definitely girls and you could tell from the color. But then I panicked when Minnie was so assertive and seemed to be growing her comb faster (though now I think Dotty is ahead in that department).
I haven't had time to edit the clips but I have been recording the young ladies as they try out their new voices. They are almost there. Minnie got quite a hen-like 'Bawk' going and seemed so pleased with herself she ran around bawking at everyone until Maggie pecked her and it became a honk!

This post sounds familiar...

Not sure where you are in AB (other than you drove into Leduc) but just saw all the evacuations and fires in Edson, Drayton Valley, etc. (know this area well, worked there a couple years, so sad).

Be safe, and heed any and all evacuation orders. And I shall pray for some rain for you, how funny when I was there a couple yrs ago all it did was be cool, and rain rain rain and now really dry and hot.

What's going on? Fires? That sounds terrible.
We had a fire down our street on a hill once. I am very grateful the wind was blowing the right way that day. You could see the whole thing from our front yard. Including those water dumping airplanes.
Oh wait, I have a real emergency. Someone pooped on me!

Through the careful application of various sized hammers I have a computer that sort of works. It's not a permanent solution and could crash any moment.
Just saying.
Lockdown fever has infected the powers that be again and everyone is trying to cram in various appointments at once in case nobody is allowed out soon.
I'm getting really tired of this I might add.
For me this means a couple of dental appointments so I can have a bottom set of teeth. Chewing with gums isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I also have two heart appointments, one appointment at the local health center (all the local surgeries are shut) and a couple of legal appointments.
When I die, I'm going to raise an army of the dead and eliminate all politicians from the face of the earth! I'll probably do all the lawyers etc while I'm at it.
The good news is I can do pictures again.
What I've lashed up is fast, but unstable. Very fitting some might say.

Not quite sure why Tap is dancing. Could be the prospect of fame I suppose.
Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to resize the pictures so they are browser slowing monsters. I'm working on it.

I see that Sony Vaio laptop in the background. I assume that is your backup. I always wanted one of those super slim machines but could never afford one. Do they even still make those?

If you want some Vaio eye candy I have a few. They are quite nice looking but slow. Especially the Atom ones.
