@LhickenChicken

Not sure where you are in AB (other than you drove into Leduc) but just saw all the evacuations and fires in Edson, Drayton Valley, etc. (know this area well, worked there a couple years, so sad).

Be safe, and heed any and all evacuation orders. And I shall pray for some rain for you, how funny when I was there a couple yrs ago all it did was be cool, and rain rain rain 😢 and now really dry and hot.
It's grey and damp here today

I got a pic of everything except thirstyday in 1 pic yesterday

Of course in the smallest nest box, too.

@Ponypoor @BY Bob or anyone that knows how to keep wet areas clean

I almost had too rehome my girls due to near on accidents and serious pain holding me back

One of my huge problems is their run! I use wood chips and thanks too the guy I paid an absolute fortune to putting their roof on the wrong way around, water floods in even though I've got guttering and a pipe set up.

This huge error has caused a hell of a lot of hard work and hundreds upon hundreds of pounds plus over these years. I even paid for work on this guttering and piping and it's still sodden with rain

What did you say about wet areas? I think you mentioned that wood chips doesn't work as well.
What would you use in wet areas?

I have to resolve this or cannot continue. I have to keep buying and pay for assistance continually. I'm desperately trying to keep them.

I can't help feeling annoyed with this man that ruined my keeping chickens and charging so much. I told him over and over again the hill I'm on and explained which way I needed this roof to tilt. But he couldn't be bothered too listen

Awwww that’s more like it ❤️ Flaked out under their brooder now 💕

I think that’s Tippy sleeping like her Dada does all stretched out head on the ground 🥰

Tonight I noted he is back to sleeping in the nest box on top of the broody mamas.

Edit:

And a sleeping pony for pony Sunday even though it is now Monday

I wouldn’t bother to pay him, if the job isn’t done to your satisfaction!

I watched this guy doing pressure points at the bottom of his ears. Apparently pressing these points quickly so many times induces sleep. I've tried this and it's help me plus eating a banana half an hour before going to bed really sends me off to sleep. Unless I'm worried or woken up.
