My computer doesn't have a battery.. so just my phone.

Anyway it rained last night and the day before, nice and gentle on the plants. Threatening to rain again today. So nice that it is raining now, and that it's a gentle on-off.

Pigletine had an adventure.
She aimed for the roost but overshot and landed first on the wood strip holding up the flat panel heater.
She soon corrected and marched up and down the main roost like she owns the place. Then she flew to the ground right in front of Bernadette. I don’t have a photo of that as both hands were deployed distracting Bernie with sunflower seeds.
When Piglet flies she looks like a hummingbird. She is so tiny and her winds flap really, really fast!

RC, what is it with chicks/Pullets. At that age they try to fly everywhere, but when they get older they must be thinking (what the hell, I might as well just walk!)

No, there was lightning and thunder. Interestingly, I have two cockerels called Lightning and Thunder...
I do have a plan. I will just load all my chooks in the pickup and kitties will come in front seat with me, I will take all the does and kits. *maybe* a buck like Jesse or Purity, but I can't take all of them because the boys fight with each other.
