Didn’t have my iPhone camera on me, but the lady hen from next door brought all eight of her babies on a field trip to my yard. I quickly had to herd them all back under the fence. Then I closed off the hole that had been dug out. What’s so special about my yard, that every chook wants to get in there?

Today I lost Sophia - twice. The first time I found her under the sheet covering my hay.

But the second time I couldn’t find her anywhere. Until I heard someone crashing around in my office - apparently she was on BeakBook looking at boys…
