But it may have been the changes in tribe pecking order that was going on. Lots of stress, imho, when those changes are occurring. Remember Hattie had to stand up for Betty? I felt like everyone seemed 'on guard' when this was all going down. Even Aurora was on high alert watching the shenanigans. At least that is what I 'read' into the videos and @BY Bob subtext. This would be stressful for all! And, Glynda was taking a huge risk - though she won, I can't imagine it not being stressful, for her, too. I could very well be wrong, but it did seem to change a lot of the flock dynamics. Maybe Bob can comment on his thoughts about this?

That is a pretty good connection as it started around when quarantine ended and has continued until now. It could be that all of the pecking order changes have created stress. I have not considered that.

Tick #s 4, 5 and 6 have driven me indoors. This feels way earlier than normal for this many ticks.
I need to unearth my tick defensive armor. I have cuffs impregnated with tick repellent to go over my sleeves to stop them crawling up my arms and the legs of my pants. I think I have a hat with netting - like for bees. And @Marie2020 told me about geranium oil as a tick repellent.
I have it all. I just need to find where!
Meanwhile, a guy who I have asked to help with some drainage issues around the barn stopped by. His neighbor raises game birds for hunting clubs. He is going to ask his neighbor about the feasibility of me sourcing quail to free range to help my tick problem.

I had to separate Jaffar from the other birds because he’s getting too aggressive with them and me. A temporary reprieve from action might be what’s needed.

Update: he calms down a lot when he’s inside with me and not around the ladies.

I would keep a close eye on him and make sure he is bot gaining access to Beakbook. If he is I would be very concerned.
