Hoping they are both pullets - but I will wait for another month before I say anything on this.

The other chick hatched with the silkies I feel is a Roo, but again - I will wait to see.
All we can do is hope for the best ;) my wee ones are showing zero indications either way. I read Orpingtons take a while show their sex, not as long as silkies but I’ll probably be guessing for awhile.

Thank you.
Do others have roughly the same experience?
Everyone else, I know how to convert pellets into crumble and have a full armory of weapons to help me do that.
However I want to figure out how much crumble to buy so that I don’t have to go through the hassle of grinding, chopping or otherwise pulverizing pellets!
Mine never liked the pellets so I give them all flock crumble

It's Caturday again

Caturday

Missy is loving this weather, and I do also, but I need to get cracking need to clean the ornamental pond of the worms which my mum finds disgusting and won’t clean out, need to mow the grass again (2.5 hrs of going in circles yay), want to work on the Summer Run, will need to keep watch over naughty chickens (that’s a lot of running back and forth ugh), and maybe just maybe I might get to let my pasty white legs see the sun today while I sit on a lawn chair 😁
