I love when bluebirds talk to me.

While I was out today working on the coops, Hattie apparently had a lot to say. She was chatting away at me today. I listened close. I think she just needed to get some stuff off her chest. It was kind of sweet.

I don't know if we get bluebirds here. We have palomas.

The awning needs cleaned and painted. That birch tree really made it dirty last year. I did not have time to do that. Something for another night.

I just got that bike in working condition with the help of a friend. I am looking forward to taking it out for a spin. I didn't use it today as I have virtually no energy from this morning. I use it up oozing out of bed. And feeding mealworms to chickens. They demand them.

I just checked on Maleficant and made her a bed with a towel and basket. I feel bad having her away from the flock but she needs rest and doesnt need Hades jumping her. She is one of his main hens.

If you have a Large animal crate you can put that out in the coop. But she might try to fight against the door of the crate.

She will be fine in your bathroom for a couple days but not longer than that or she will nees to be reintroduced to your flock.

Does she fight with any of your gals? Does jaffar do anything? If not then I say you got yourself an real nice hen there! And those are lovely babies
