I had dinner.
The soda had no high fructose corn syrup.
And I want another pizza.

She is thinking about babies!
This is Agathae. Why is she making those noises? She does them quite frequently and she was puffing up a bit yesterday. I could not see her today because I am in Austin.
Early stages of broody. I love that face.Apparently she was just sitting around being slow today. Could be the heat or the fact that she is a walking broody.

That's one I have never read. Perhaps I should.I think it may be 50 years or more since I read Gulliver's Travels. I suspect I would get more out of it as an adult and with some understanding of the context and meaning behind it.
Must add to the reading list!
Uh-oh. She may be hatching some wooden eggs. She is thinking about babies!
If you do, make sure the Chicken TV is on. You may need to cure your boredom. I did not like most of it.That's one I have never read. Perhaps I should.
Yes, the coop they were in when it happened was a coop we build just for them to be in for about 2 weeks until we could rule out any diseases they could have. Last year we had pheasant in that area for 10 weeks and nothing happened to them so we thought that area was safe.So sad.
Hopefully they will be happy together.
Do you know how to make your coop predator proof?
Yes the fox has already been seen in the area they were again. The hens have moved to a new coop that has wire going 3 feet under the coop and wire over the coop so nothing can come inHoly cow. Such a tragedy.![]()

Know that the fox will come back so be certain that you fox proof your coop. They are very cute together and I'm glad you got Fifi a new friend. Chickens are social creatures and they need to have friends.
Awwww so cute! Love themIt's past my bed time, but the power's out and I have a brooder heat plate going. So we cranked up the generator just for the itty bitties. Estimated restoration is 1:30 am. I keep looking out the window to see if my neighbor's porch light is on. Then I can shut off the genny and go to bed.
4 hours to go...
