Princess muck is not liking this sun very much and she's as mucky as usual, she's decided thT the coop is best for her now in this heat
I had to give her a quick dip today before treating her legs and feet and gave Tina and her a dusting protection against any potential mites. They had an hour and a half on tge front garden then demanded to be taken out the back again

Awww poor pookie, what happened to her mama?

All the chicks are good about coming up to me, they are all food motivated, and I give them meal worms which they readily come up looking for 😊

The newbies were handled so much they already come around, except when it’s bed time hahaha!
Her Mama and Rusty were killed by a marauding dog who also killed 6 pullets allbon the same day. The rest took shelter under those Russian olive trees they like to rest under by the coop. Considering how tiny she was, she grew up well!

And she's a sharp one now. She even laid into both hormonal idiots. I'm hoping she goes broody at some point. She's got the smarts to be a fantastic momma. Whiskey has been courting her, pretty successfully, too. It's looking like she's going to be one of HIS girls.

Mashed potatoes, carrots, turnip, sushi, roast beef, pork loin, shrimp, lobster (don’t ask), homemade bread, Kraft Dinner, and lots of other stuff ❤️
Mine eat Melon, Blueberries, Blackberries, anything we have fruit wise that they can eat, Grape LEAVES, Their favorite is spinach, lettuce, feathers 🙄, salmon, pasta, squash, carrots, peppers, zucchini, anything we have honestly!!

Wow! Muck is right! That kind of color change takes true talent!

Plumber wanted 600 just to cap the line, which goes to the faucet. Told him. No thanks and had Lety drive me to home depot. For $20 I installed a shutoff valve on that line then capped it. I'll go back later and install new pipe and replace the faucet. Outrageous plumbing costs tax.View attachment 3519805
Yes seriously! Last Fall they charged 600 to snake the line from the sink to the exit to the tank.

Granted he had the fancy dancy electric powered snake but for 40min work - come on !!!

Tax
No more Mount Poopmore for anyone
