I'm always astonished at what fits down their throats whole. In Albis will steal grapes and swallow them whole before you can grab them. Same with huge chunks of broccoli.

I hope you have a productive day today, and gain some insight and help with answersI hope I did the right thing. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon with a therapist. I have many questions about myself that only a professional, outside the box can answer. (Privately)
Usually I would go to my preacher, but not for this. Not this time.

I sure hope that Theo and Gaston can figure this out. It has to be very hard for you to see them fighting like that. I don't like it when the hen fight. Rooster fights have to be even more upsetting.I think you really needed this time to be certain of making the right choice and being sure things would not work out.
I can really relate, unfortunately I'm trying all kind of things to keep my two roosters, and none of them are working out for now.
I'm giving myself until Gaston turns 18 months old, also because some of the changes in the flock will take time to unfold, but if nothing I try works one of them will have to go.
Right now, I'm alternating locking up each rooster with his hens that are not well enough to protect themselves from the other roo every two hours while letting the other tribe range. I hate it, they hate it, it's just not working.
Little Théo keeps loosing the fights and keeps picking them.

Branch is ok unless he runs, then there is a limp. Not terrible, but the limp is there. You are right about Twigs size, he is not only taller then Branch but he has some weight on him. I never weighed him but he was easily double Branch's weight. Yes she took Madea as well. She is hoping they work as a pair to protect their new girls. I showed her the pictures of Madea babysitting, that did it. She does not have chronic broodies like I do but her girls hatch off at least 1 brood a year. She could not keep any Toothless sons that hatched off, she tried but Toothless would attack them when they hit about 4 months old.@RebeccaBoyd
Sorry, I am just starting to catch up, I may end up owing SHRA because you have already posted....but...
How is Branch? I hope he is okay both physically and psychologically!
Did the rehome go well, and did they also take Madea?
I know how much you love your boys, so I know this must have been hard. The only thing I can say is that Twig got his Daddy's hutzpa! Unfortunately, he also got his mom's size, so Branch didn't stand a chance. That said, he will most likely be a REALLY good roo for the lady that wanted him - he is good with the ladies, and seems he will fight to protect them as well.
