Took these yesterday as I knew today would be a wash-out with heavy miserable chilly rain.

These are the School Chicks, Hatched 08 May 2023, they are 5 weeks old now.

Also any suggestions on GENDER?

Hard to get photos (as Rebecca can attest to) they don't want to sit still!

I don't know - I think all of these would be good head-shots to send to an agent. All lovely
(Except, maybe, that last one. She/he looks angry and like s/he is going to get you in that one!!!)

I am going to give her a hair cut today. She is starting to have issue seeing through that mop

I can’t wait to see what her feathers come out as when she does her first molt.

Tippy is starting to get white feathers around her beak and eyes and that white wing feathers, I wonder if she will get more white feathers.

We knew a polkie would be adorable. Martina is just a shock at how stunning she is. That color combination, never saw it coming. I'm curious, is this color combo a 1 time thing, or if multiple chicks would hatch out like that.

I am anxious to get down to my friend's place to see what her daughter hatched out from the eggs I gave her from Henny Penny and Marty. Haven't had a chance to get down but maybe on the weekend. Her daughter works, so need to go when she is there.

Wonder what colour they will be from Henny Penny she is all white! I just wish I had some eggs from Fluffy and Curly but they had gone broody by then.

I know, it's the eye colour - what is with the eye colour?! They all have those weird eyes except Martina and Tippy - they have black eyes.
