Welcome! I haven’t seen you here before, normally By Bob would welcome you first but I saw you online.

We would love to see photos of you lovely chooks - especially babies

Rebecca’s mama and babies are just a week so they may not go into the coop - I am waiting to see how that went - if they are like my rascals it might be a fun read!

And I time to do my evening chores and put my chooks to bed.

I think they're going to be partridge like Pear, Belladonna, and Primula. Gold toned but lighter than Pear.

edit: Granted Belladonna and Primula are silver based so it's called silver penciled instead of partridge which is gold based (regardless of how dark a brown is, it's still gold).

Now I can’t wait to see them when they get bigger and fully feathered

Have some faith. My Hen-Rietta is still alive but it was a close call. It really sneaks up on us when a chicken is in distress. (It’s not like they can tell us what’s wrong)

My personal update: I’m wearing eyeglasses with only one lens in them.
I go in for cataract surgery on my other eye at the end of the month. If I don’t use the glasses, I see a blurry double vision on my right eye . It’s weird.

(No, I don’t have twice the chooks!)
