Oh, do be careful! Lots of water and ice for you and the chooks, and hopefully you have some AC for you & a fan for them - that is down-right miserable/heat stroke weather!

Hmmm seems like Fluffy has decided she is done with motherhood, she is squatting and grumbling about wanting to lay an egg, and she pretty much abandoned Curly with the wee ones.

Well, it’s not a good day here, it’s not all guns and roses this morning. The drunk neighbor down the alley is roaming around aimlessly. I have no idea what he’s up to, but I need to watch my chooks closely just in case of mischief.

A preening butt (Enigma, with Zulu playing "im not here")

A rooster butt saying, "lay here" (Hector)

Baby butts (Havoc, Chia, and Enigma beakbombing). How many more can you find screened by the leaves? (I don't know the answer, either)

In-laws butts: buff orpington hen and Bielefelder rooster

Wow this babies are just growing like crazy! Isn’t it wild how they just make themselves at home

Love the cactus, I gave up trying to weed mine, I might just take a spade to it and break it all up, restart with a small patch. Looks like yours are starting to flower, mine are not behind.

How do your chickens handle the cactus? So they try to eat the flowers or the plant itself?
