Brownie update:
She went to her new home a half a mile up the road. Maddie took her to her sister. Technically Maddie caught her so she was Maddie's chicken. I am kind of relieved, I really did not need her. I just could not stand to see her treated that way.

Yes that's my sweet Glynda. The bottoms of their feet are so soft and warm. I love when they perch on me.

I always cringe now when Little Grey hops up on my head, do her feet have poop on them??? first thing I check - so far I have been lucky .

And they USE them! Fortunately they haven't been using them in trees....yet. They're only climbing to tree height INSIDE the coop.... and I probably jinxed myself with that....
