Hello Pretty Boy Floyd. Actually that is a very fitting name for him as he is a pretty boy. Sometimes name changes has to happen once their true personalities or colors come in. If I did not already have a Bunny mom would name Owly "snuggle bunny". She is going to give Butter a run for her money one day as friendliest hen. Any open lap is a invitation to hop up and go to sleep.

I was decked out in full FR. My coveralls weighed 20 pounds when I took them off. I have fans available for the chooks but we've had a lovely southeast breeze constantly for some time now. Lety soaks the runs daily and uses fans when there's no wind

Oh crap that’s got to be miserable, I really feel for you guys wearing all that FR gear.

NOTE: FR gear is fire retardant gear that is worn in areas of pipelines and facilities that are live (have gas/oil/bitumen) running through them, the FR gear has no material that can melt onto your skin if a fire occurs.

Cotton, wool, Kermel, are all types of FR materials.

And it’s darn hot in the hot weather.
