Be cause we had do be different from the other english-speaking countries. "Z", driving on the right side of the road (we drug Canada along on that one), not using the metric system OR the British weights and measures, spelling with Z instead of S (civilized vs civilise), spelling with an OR rather than and OUR (color vs colour, honor vs honour), etc.

Sophia’s babies seem ok though everyone seems restless. They should settle down in a few days.

Babies did well last night, and more importantly this morning with the stampede out the door.

I want them integrated with Mr P so that when they are grown they will have him as their protector.

So far so well!

Though to be clear, Europe is all left hand drive cars and right side roads like ‘we’ do .

I need to cover my chair seat and the back of the chair as they can fly up there now.

Yesterday I was wearing shorts in the barn (which I never do as those stable/house flies bite), but my sting location was irritated by clothing, then one of those chicks hopped up on my lap and scratched the reddened swollen section! Owww!

Hello everyone-
I have some catching up to do. On Monday I had my first appointment and I decided to participate in a trial they have. It may reduce the probability that I will have a recurrence and it is a low risk trial. I will get a series of shots of the flu vaccine which should act like biologics do and prompt my own immune system to fight the cancer. Crazy cool medical advances! Then I will have surgery on the 31st of this month.

Thank you for the update. I have been thinking about you. Not trying to give medical advice or perhaps doctors already mentioned, but it is almost common knowledge that Vitamin D is very essential for you and really boosts your immune system. Moreover, the majority of us have a VD deficiency. Fingers crossed that everything goes well on 31st!

We will not have to flip her ourselves. Wait until she dust bathes and flips herself. We just need to be present when she does it so we know which way she landed.

I have also seen her flip herself rearranging her feathers after a grooming session.
