Barbara Beethov-hen threw up. Could something be wrong with her? Cockerel has done it a few times but this was a while ago and he doesn't really do it any more.

If they drink too much water they can spit up. Aurora has done it.

So, I know many people hire/employ baby-sitters, dog sitters, sometimes even house sitters to protect and care for things they love.

It seems that I employ

Tree sitters - gotta make sure those trees don't walk away or be vandalized!


And...I have a few in training. They have not yet earned their stripes and reached 'trust with the trees' status...but these (only one shown) are working hard to earn that standing! (or should I say 'sitting"??)

She is one of the chicks from my second to hatch broody this year.
