Mr P seems to be not a controlling type of personality, so I'm guessing they may split into a group or two of willing hens that he will tend, and then one or more roo-less groups?
That is basically how it is right now, the girls general stick with the groups they have grown up with.

The girls will drop by and hang out with Mr P from time to time; but he doesn’t go out and harass the ladies and try to get them to join his harem. Penelope, Marty and Sophia, also Blanche and somewhat Fluffy, Curly and Henny will stick with him esp when sunning and relaxing.

But if one sits and watches them all, the ladies will all hang out in their own little groups with their friends.

Winter is Coming
The molting here is certainly indicating an early winter. Here is the latest molting news.

Phyllis has started. She lost all of her tail feathers over the weekend. She looks so unbalanced.

Aurora has started. That tail feather is about to drop.

Sydney seems to be done already. She did a slow molt this year. Only the dropping of her tail feathers told me it was going on.

Hattie and Lady Featherington are in the rough stages of their molt, no photos necessary.

Glynda has been slow molting for weeks. The yellows slowly turning to white again. If you look close you can see the different coolers feathers.

What does this mean? Well Hattie and Aurora are molting a month earlier than normal. They are usually still in their mold in November and I and getting about them. Not this year. They should both be done long before November arrives. That has not happened before. Perhaps an early onset of cold weather is in our future.

Time will tell.
