I have a PhD from the ‘school of hard knocks’.

One day the chain on the hay elevator broke, my dad was just whaling away at one of the link trying to get the broken link detached.

My neighbour farmer came by with another load of hay and laughed at us, he took over and showed us how easy it was to remove the broken link and put a new one on.

Always something new to learn, and especially from adversary, one can always learn from any situation of they are willing to learn

They are great, wish I had them here, but my high water table wouldn’t allow the water in the pipe to drain out.

Water is around 18” below ground, and in the spring it’s around 6” from ground level.

How many do you have there? I love how convenient they are! I am jealous!

6, I think...2 down below in the jungle surrounding the apple tree, 4 around the house, including the one just inside the gate that Sherlock likes to stop at when coming back from a walk. Based upon the video you shared. 1 needs o-rings replaced.

I think that should be a not to hard fix, that video think had a link to how those can be replaced.

Quartz is visible. Granite, Cardhu, and one of the clouds are there but invisible. Other cloud is just down the hill, so hidden by dirt rather than dry mustard.

And as of last night, Storm is still buk-bukking (broody). They're 10 weeks on Monday.
