He would let you, when he is done molting and not ouchy. Right now he will sit in your lap but you must not hold the porcupine. In a few weeks I will once again be able to hold him, squeeze him and kiss him.

Ya I hear you, I felt so bad having to handle my molting girls and Mr P but I needed to dose them.

All done but I’m 20 days I get to do it all again - yay….

I just processed 9 of my friends roosters. More information will come tomorrow. I actually killed four, but I helped de-gut the others and pluck them.

I helped as a hand on a fishing boat when I was younger. I got so good at it that the captain called me a “master baiter!” Wow what an honor.

29 chooks dosed with ivermectin, I also sprayed some fly spray containing permethrin on the three Azurs, on their vent, and under their wings.

I think all my adults are molting, and my 4 youngest chick pullets who are 13 weeks are also doing their first molt.
