Hannah just called me 10 minutes ago. She’s doing fine, but she wants me to go to Tahoe tomorrow and meet with her. Paul is prepping Marie for the flight and I’m vectoring the plans now to FAA. Local people here are very cooperative with me (thank God) but I’m concerned that Hannah isn’t telling me everything.
What is she doing in Nevada? Her home is in Colorado?

I don't know. At least a few months. We are also sharing it with a couple people we know.

I am trying to find a new brand of feed, the one I currently have is not to my liking, very dusty for crumbles, and seems to have grit as part of the ingredients. It’s like sand when I make their porridge.

I might try Purina Layena, the Purina Grower I tried a while back was just like dust. I wanted to try an All Flock, and some of you suggested a game bird feed. I know that one brand here has a game bird feed I might try.

I think all my adults are molting, and my 4 youngest chick pullets who are 13 weeks are also doing their first molt.

The Jubilees look pretty good but they are growing so fast, I feel like they are almost constantly in some state of molting. Feathers everywhere, is the general state of my coop currently. Brownie is by far in the roughest state, poor girl.

How long does it generally take for them to grow back their feathers after a hard molt? It seems slower going than I thought it would be and they are on 20% all flock too!

Ya I hear you, I felt so bad having to handle my molting girls and Mr P but I needed to dose them.

All done but I’m 20 days I get to do it all again - yay….

I’m meant in 10 days I get to do it all over again.

Still crawling here - is it my imagination??

What time are you flying out? Who will keep an eye on your chooks? Same person as always? (Paul I think?)

Gosh I am so sad that you’re ill again. Is it still Covid? It took me a few weeks to get over it, and I was tired exhausted for a long time after.
