As the squire of the honorable sir Jaffar, his lordship has requested me to ask the Beloved Queen Aurora, if he could possibly see a picture of her during her reign in session wearing her crown?
I was requested to do my utmost to procure such a picture on my iPhone.
So please ask her if she would pose for just one image. :bow:fl

I have the Poppet, I will post picture's hopefully later this evening. Right now she is in the coop settling in. She is TINY. She is also definitely a Poppet from the few minutes I've been with her. Tiny and with a attitude like Poppy had.
I'm so happy for you. :hugs :hugs

First was thinking round stones underneath pavers to raise it higher. But maybe not needed. Will wait and see now.
Had a supervising Spud on my back briefly, checking my leveling & scraping, but hey I'm not aiming for exact. It's amazing how quickly these guys get their engineering degrees!

When the Buckeyes' away, the Spud's will play

Note the cardboard behind where the other warming panel was. Got some 2x10x8 rough sawn hemlock boards from a sawmill very close to us. I'm going to try them for keeping in litter and windblocking, instead of cardboard. Taller on edge than the placeholding 1x6's which are very old, were stored outside on the north face and are pretty punky. Hemlock does last longer than pine, those pieces are probably 20 years old now.
Those Spuds are so darn adorable. 🥰

Our trees here are past the height of colour, and with the heavy rain and wind, a lot of leaves are off the trees.
My trees have been dropping leaves for a while, especially the magnolia. Interestingly enough, we have also had enough rain for it to bloom again. Check this out.

OMG, she is to tiny and fluffy and I am already smitten. I'm sorry, there is something about those silkie's that make me melt. Look at the head poof. Branch had better love me and love his choice of a future wife. Stop looking at those bigger girls Branch and pay attention to Poppet. She will not be ready for a bit though, even though she is 5 months old she still has a mixture of chick peeps and honking goose noises of a voice change. She is understandably a bit wary of me, but, with patience I had her eating out of my hand. Baby steps and before long she will be my shadow.

Two for Tuesday.
Branch and Poppet.

My goodness is she ever tiny though. Little lady, I do not want to see a egg from you until February, you have some growing to do.

Just look at her though, she is adorable. Ok, if silkies are your thing she is adorable.

She is darling! Are you sure she's 5 months? Or has Branch been drinking Ent draughts and growing some more?
