Not only did we lose power yesterday, but the storm damaged my coop. Dangit! Just needs to last until next year when we'll look at building one!!! Grrrr!

All the chicky birds are fine though! And it is nice and dry inside the coop. I think I'll wrap the run during the week. If we get a couple dry days in a row I'll rake up our soft pine needles and store them for the nest boxes.

Oh that sucks! It’s times like that when I am glad I didn’t build an outside coop (and when it’s -30 outside haha), as long as it’s not leaking in the coop it should be ok.

Never a dull moment is there?!

Today since it was nice, I did some work on the outside Rooster Run. I put up the three panels I have already put together, will need a couple more but that can wait.

Petunia has no issue with flying from 40’ away straight up onto the panel which is 6’ high. She thinks she’s a leghorn!

Tomorrow it’s supposed to rain so I will work on finishing up HH-B.

I did it guys, finally @48yrs old, I got my bachelor’s degree in education woohoo and to celebrate the flock gave me the best and arguably one of the most elusive photos, a whole flock picture, all 13 are in there!!!

One picture makes her eye look strange but that's just the capture with the sun.

I am concerned her movements/poops have not normalised

I think she looks really good for an old gal

Had a 2 year old bull moose scramble across the road in front of us on the way to work. Small rack + scramble = lack of confidence > spent last winter with Mama.

No one hurt, obviously no pics either.

Whoa - holy cow! Even a youngster can cause a whole lot of trouble

Glad all turned out good for all of you!
