All my software is win based so Linux is not happening.

My cell is a crappy $90 model which does eggsactly what I want - makes a phone call 😊

Linux can run Windows software via WINE.

And your $999 iPhone takes photos.

My iPhone is my old work phone I bought out for less than $100 - I am cheap I don’t like to pay for extravagant things - unless it’s a nice horse or chook of course 😊

My current phone was $899 for the model I have. I got it for $133. The cameras on this thing is great. It's a Google Pixel 4.

Yup she is back on the nest. But I took her 5 eggs so now she has gathered up the fake eggs and is sitting on those instead.
I don't think she ate or drank while she was off the nest so I am going to go back and have another go with a private food and water delivery. Oh boy!
You NEED a Rooster! (Well, Sylvie does...those egg need to be fertile):D

I did it guys, finally @48yrs old, I got my bachelor’s degree in education woohoo 🎉 and to celebrate the flock gave me the best and arguably one of the most elusive photos, a whole flock picture, all 13 are in there!!!

:celebrate:celebrate:celebrateThat is wonderful! I'm so happy for you that you plugged away and finished!!!!❤️❤️

Why would Tassels suddenly be so mean to her? I think Tassels chased her away from the food.
Maybe because she is broody....so behaviour is/has changed. Where is Tassels in the pecking order relative to Sylvie??? Might she be either trying to 'move up', or 'chastising' Sylvie for being broody?

Nope this phone is just for photos - and when my other phone croaks I’ll put the CIM card in this one.

I don’t need a keyboard n for this thing - I used one with this last year and it was just as bad as using the touch screen. I’ll stick with my laptop ancient as it is 😊
My chooks use the laptop. I don’t let them use my iPhone, because they peck and crack the protective glass. :old :caf

I count 34 :lau
There were 29 chickens, then you realized it's 30, maybe, and now really it's 34, at least today, including the ones you have named, and we're assuming you named every one? :)

Don't worry! Congratulations are in order! You are getting into the upper leagues, the elite of chicken keeping, where people don't know how many chickens they have and they don't care! They stopped trying to count and everything is better. But you're still trying. Why? Well, what happened was that folks here wanted accuracy, and your response was to be accurate to a high degree. Stop that!

To really establish your standing in that elite group, just start using ranges of numbers from now on. Say out loud, "Oh, there's about 30-35 chickens here." See? Don't you feel everything's better already? :hugs

This also makes getting more chickens way easier. No worries about taking your relatives chicks, or breaking broodies. A total win-win! How? Just start using broader ranges! Say out loud, "Oh, I suppose there's about 30-40 chickens here." Isn't that satisfying? It's (probably) accurate and puts off those nosy nerds at the same time. Doesn't that feel great? ❤️ :hugs
