I found Sir Jaffar under the porch (alone again naturally) I brought him inside for some lunch. Little does he know that I plan on taking a nap, and he’ll be accompanying me!

Remember, behind every good man, there’s even a better roosterI don't think I can take credit for that. You were a good person before you found this thread.
My kiddo asked if shep chicken could come inside earlier! I told her no, she would be happiest with her sisters outside. But she did get to pet her.I found Sir Jaffar under the porch (alone again naturally) I brought him inside for some lunch. That’s a lot of slugging! But a job well done!View attachment 3680391I’ve spent the last couple of weeks (and the next few, as well) hauling buckets of mulch to spread around my yard. Alas, it’s too steep for a wheelbarrow. When we moved in I had to declutter a ton of invasive blackberry & ivy, so there’s lots of bare dirt to cover and protect while I put plants in.
The chooks of course are perfectly happy with mulch, bare dirt, or grass. A mix of all three, pleaseView attachment 3680395

Albert, the skinniest butt of the flock, is feeling very amenable to modeling for FBF.
Is it colder up there?View attachment 3680381I’m going up to the northern property today, and check out the airport close by. Hopefully there’s a hanger available for purchase there. I’m thinking to move from the valley into the foggy forest, northern property, and rent out my house, View attachment 3680380and rent out the front house too. The tenant up front has given me notice that they will be moving.
(MY CHOOKS ARE COMING WITH ME.)
Of course Sir Jaffar must approve of the idea first!
My plan tax:
A little late but o sure hope you have a blast! Enjoy and have FUNFluffy Butt friends, I shall rejoin you all tomorrow. Chickens and grandma are all lined up and taken care of. In a hour we are leaving for the concert.
That is a good age for sure!Open mouth, insert foot!
I was going to take my neighbor lady to the parade, but she decided she couldn’t go because of her knee and couldn’t get around easily. So I’m cleaning up her kitchen and going home to my chooks. She doing good for a 85 year old!
Awwww such adorable babies
That’s fair enoughMy kiddo asked if shep chicken could come inside earlier! I told her no, she would be happiest with her sisters outside. But she did get to pet her.
