I get that when I have a weak signal.
But @notabitail is our resident tech expert!
I restarted my phone and managed to add the picture. It's not the best shoot but I didn't want to disturb them.

I'm impressed with the cat, he's really keeping an eye on princess when she's on the grass, he always looked out for the chickens but it's like he knows she's on her own now and the good thing is she's okay with him being near her

Some should NOT teach - I only remember 2 teachers who were good teachers the rest were witches; hmmm, the 2 were male teachers - seems I do get along better with men than women 😁 less drama. My mother has pointed this out to me.

And yet male chickens and horses drive me crazy!!!
Those witches as you called them, Rosie would flourish under their teachings. From the very beginning she has had the older close to retiring mean teachers. I never called them mean, this came from people we knew whose children had them in the past. It was always you need to switch her out of so and so's class, they are always yelling at the kids. I never did. I had old school style teachers in school and they were the ones who taught me things that I still remember. She has loved them all and excelled. Those older "mean" teachers push their students. She also learned respect from them as they did not put up with nonsense. I backed the teachers up until they completely did away with corporal punishment in schools 2 years ago. She saw me sign the permission form each year that was followed up with the same warning. You get paddled in school you will get another as soon as you get home. She has never been sent to the principals office. I cannot say the same about myself, paddled 3 times before 4th grade, but I needed them. Her favorite teacher so far in high school she is in one of his classes a 2nd year. He was her physics teacher last year and this years forensics teacher. Let me tell you that child has earned her grades in that class and he would have killed me. Monday through Friday homework that needs to be turned in by midnight online. He grades it, no oh you did it you get full credit. If it is wrong points taken off. Weekly quizzes and a test every 2 weeks. We are not talking small assignments either, in physics it was 2 full pages of problems. Definitions and outlines. Same with forensics. 1st 9 weeks of forensics she got a 89.85, he does not believe in rounding up. That is ok, I know how hard she has worked and if she is proud of that grade and believes she did her best I am happy with it as well. He is actually becoming a mentor for her and she goes to him for advise. She wants to work in forensics when she is done with school. He is retired military and then was a cop for 20 years before he took up teaching. In his forensics class he brings first hand knowledge of the procedures and she comes home and tells me everything. The 2 of them are mapping out what classes that are offered at the high school she NEEDs to take and he is advising her on colleges. Her favorite day so far was when he had a former collogue bring a lie detector test to the school and demonstrate it. She came home and said Mr. Hunt got put in the hot seat and I had fun. The drawback, she is no fun anymore watching favorite tv shows like CSI or NCIS. I get, it does not work that way, that is wrong. Dang you Mr. Hunt.
