Is that a full welsummer?
I tried to read “3 Billy goats gruff”. But I found it entirely too gruff for me!Alex is an even bigger softy than I am when it comes to his birds

So basically, he’s being a roosterOut of all my birds 16 are roos. They talk smack to each other and they may try to show me they are tough, but only 1 has attacked me.
He has been jealous of me since day one. But he is obsessed with me too! He's near me, he dances for me, he shows me food. His girls have a bond with me because they were there first. If they get to focused on me and won't listen to him he takes it out on me. Then after I've chased him screaming and threatening him. We calm down and he's back at me cooing.
This roo did choose me and he chooses violence more often than not. He is like the sour patch candy. Sour and mean then sweet and happy
Brown Leghorn
Yep. Hubby named him after Ozzy Osborne and his theme song is Crazy Train so he is just living up to expectations I suppose. I guess I'll cut him some slack for a day.So basically, he’s being a rooster!
Eeek! That cold white stuff.I don't see any chickybirds out there in the run!

I'll be making them something to snack on here in a bit, but they were not happy about coming out this morning!
First off Welcome to the thread. Sorry I am a bit late welcoming you, life is hectic these days. It sounds like you have a lovely flock. You have some of my favorites in your flock. Silkies and BCM's hold a special place in my heart along with orps. I think I saw you had a hatch and ended up with 10 roos right? I have to laugh at that I'm sorry. My personal hatch ratios are skewn heavily to the rooster side so I have to laugh or else I cry. I love my boys though, and I find myself getting more attached to the boys then I do the hens which is why I try to place the extras in good homes if I can. I would love to hear more stories about your flock and see pictures.Yep. These are the ones I have in other pens.
