It has been quite an adjustment becoming a crow fan. It does not come naturally to someone who grew up chasing them away from the fields. But I am a big fan of them now.
Maybe you need one of these jerseys, if you are a fan? :idunno IMG_3801.png

I do not like football. When I am forced to watch it though I do prefer Kansas City to irritate mom who cannot stand Mahomes. That said, Her Royal Highness Raven very much approves of that jersey.

Shrimp and steak gets expensive. And now they’re just freeloading. :barnie
I need to do everything in my power to keep my girls from coming across these freeloading comments. Even with around 2 bad days a week, the girls are averaging around 10 eggs a day. The older girls Holly, Bunny, Blueberry and Corona are still in production at the moment. I sold 5 dozen last night. I should sell another 5 in a little over a week. They are covering their feed bill. I cannot ask more then that. Actually as long as I do not have to break over and buy store eggs for my use, I will never call them freeloaders.

I understand the difficulty in becoming a fan of them. It is also a adjustment in my dislike of hawks. Before chickens, I loved hawks. Actually, I still do, as long as they stay away from my chickens. I find Hawks and Owls beautiful. I love watching nest camera's of them raising their young, far away. When I took these pictures I was torn. Very proud and rooting for the crows, but at the same time I felt bad for the hawk who had been chased for over a hour and was exhausted.

I have always appreciated the majesty of the raptor but I now have a deep felt hatred for them if I see them around my yard.
