The treatment is antifungal cream - but first be sure you have the right diagnosis:
- Is her crop full first thing in the morning before she has gotten off the roost?
- Squishy like liquid?
- Describe what her breath smells like

Her crop felt like this yesterday. I brushed it off thinking, "She's huge. No big deal". It has gotten bigger and feels like a giant fat squishy liquid ball. Her breath smells like stinky feed.

I am a popsicle! I hate winter, once it gets below 21C (about 70F) I am freezing!

Unfortunately there is no place in Canada that has nice winter weather, so I have to put up with it. This is why we have so many retired Snowbirds here that go south in the US for the winter.

I am not retired and really cannot afford to go south at any rate. So here I am stuck freezing with this weather!

Morning. Thawing today but that just means that there will be ice under the snow that falls tonight. We're all suffering from how dry the house is currently, our grocery money this week went toward buying a pair of humidifiers for our bedroom and kiddos room. Been simmering pots of water to get the moisture up for the main part of the house.
Thirsty thursday, the girls enjoying a bread pan of water this week. They empty that dish in about three hours, which lets me keep it topped up without freezing.

Morinth showed them how and now everyone is drinking just fine. That was Monday...this morning they all lined up to get a drink nice as could be.
Shep seems like she doubled in size this week, I'll try to get a pic of her. She also tried to squat when I went to pet her on the roost pole and almost fell off, it was pretty funny.

Soon it will be summer again
