Why is nightshade in your bathtub?

If I had a pond I would seriously consider it. They are lovely. I have seen folk who have their duck house floating on the pond which apparently is a good way to keep them safe from foxes and the like.
What a great idea! I could tie a rope to it up on the dock. Now to go convince my husband to build it next spring

Yes, some are quite poopy - they haven't all figured out to lay in the nest box - instead they are in random spots! Just for comparison, the egg in the center, though slightly elongated, is a standard large size egg (from my older hen) The others are all pullet eggs.
And @RoyalChick but what do you do in winter? That's the problem! Because you RC have an unused pool, once taken up by ducks temporarily as I recall (fox chased them away, or got one?). Maybe winter quarters would be a smaller setup, with heated pumped water into those horse bins? I once saw someone had a pump situation for their ducks, with filters and all, kept the water running and clean. I don't recall if it was winter-worthy though. What a great idea!
