Notable Roosting Event

This is a first. Lady Featherington has roosted in the Cluckle Hut tonight. As I no longer watch roosting, I have no idea why.

Do you know if they will get more white as they get older? I see Buttercup is getting more dark feathers now she is moulting.

Do you think Lady F will become white with dark spots eventually?

At this pace, yes I think she will be white with brown spots in a couple of years. It is my guess that the spots show up after the first adult molt. This is her first adult molt.

I'm way late but for a name you might consider Peregrine. She has a hawk-like look in her face in this picture, with her eyes so big, and she was a wandering chicken.

I love that name.

Oh gosh! No he is 100% good it looked worse than it was. If he were a black chicken I wouldn’t have even noticed it right away.

But I trimmed him really short - brush cut like!
