Bert is a cutie that is for sure.
@Ponypoor How is little Bert's temperament so far? Has he got you wrapped around his little toes yet? I know especially with only 2 chicks, even knowing it is a boy I would already be smitten.

Well to tell you the truth, I have hardly had time to play around with them. They hatched just as I started my new job and had to travel that first week.

Weekends I have been scrambling to get everything done from the week, so hardly time to play around with them.

This morning I let Henny and the chicks in the feedroom for some mealworms, but Betty hogs all the mealworms ! She is the bold one.

Little Dakota!!! Made a big mess in the house. Scratch everywhere, she spilled the water too. She’s mad at something. I gave her some corn to calm down

They're the sound tracks for pics of Phyllis strutting her stuff and letting it all hang out, Super Model style! Both tunes work, depending on the New Year's Eve Before and After pics. She puts it all together with the pearls very Old School, but is definitely Naughty Eighties with the late-night partying!

Happy new year everyone!
Hubby mentioned enclosing the entire coop+run we bought and turning it into a big coop for the girls. After we expand the run with a big walk in one. I told him it would be almost cheaper to get a massive coop+run built for us but he says "no that will lead to chicken math."
Like us expanding the coop won't!
