Saw a snakeskin in the garage today, 3 plus feet. Good thing about it being that long is it probably isn't venemous.

So you’ve seen them go totally trance-like! I wonder what would happen if a bullied hen were in the bath and another came to peck at her… would she just avoid going into too deep of a trance so she could run away as needed?

But I'm really guessing here. It's a different state, once they really get going. But I think they're still predator-alert, so yes.

The hen Phyllis is not, by any means the same as Phyllis Diller. You people stop being silly . Phyllis Smith was once a love of my rooster BLU, and we will never forget that! Phyllis is still a Goddess in our court.

Princess had only 20 minutes in the sun yesterday but enjoyed her day overall.
I'm hoping she has an even better day today.

I watched a news clip about a black cat scaring off two coyotes from attacking a cute white dog in his garden.

Yesterday my neighbour spoke too me from across the road, this startled princess, (she a jumpy old thing ) pusscat immediately placed himself between princess and my neighbour, this made her relax.
He's a funny old cat, he may not mean to be so helpful but somehow he just is.
