I think I'm going to do a youtube version for those that don't have SpotifyI don't have Spotify but even the preview run, 30 seconds a song, is enjoyable! Thanks, DJ!
Oh wait sorry you didn’t have that badge - yet!
I'm glad you are going to get some help.Grandma update:
Hospice is making their first visit today at 10:30. I am surprised they are coming. We hit brick walls with home health. Nagging her dr since September and the office never managed to set it up. When he decided 2 weeks ago on her last telehealth appointment that it was time for hospice honestly I thought yeah right. Well, they just called asking for directions and are on their way. Realistically there is not much they can do, or anybody for that matter. I have 2 major concerns that they can hopefully address and give advice on. One is her legs and the swelling issues, the other is the spot that we have been battling for 5 months that is threatening to be the start of a bed sore. It will not completely heal, but is not getting worse and due to it's location no matter what position we put her in she cannot be gotten off of it 100%.
I never had a friendship badge, did I? I don't think so. I'm not all over BYC consistently like others.Your Friendship badge went missing!
Yeah you can't lose what you don't have lolOh wait sorry you didn’t have that badge - yet!
Maybe Hospice can help with getting Home Health aides too, unless in your state they are combined which would be great. The practical aspect of what they both do can be invaluable. Bear in mind maybe what you are doing for Grandma's potential bed sore is the best that can be done. You certainly are preventing further damage, which is a positive.Grandma update:

Sure come on up! We have lots of room, I’ll take you riding ( oh better wait for Spring then I only ride when it’s over 70F hahaha!), if you can catch him you can snuggle him.I really need to visit for a few days. I will sign a waiver before heading to the barn. First thing on the agenda is scoop up Mr. P in one arm for a hug. Fully prepared and waiting for the wee little black lass to come rampaging to scoop her up in the other arm. Double snuggles. Living with Momma Hen, I aint afraid of no hen.
Rebecca, if you can make a cushion with a hole in it for that location it will help remove pressure from that spot. Or a large piece of foam.Grandma update:
