Yeah, I almost sat on egg that was in my pocket!
Hahaha ewww! Today I found 15 eggs and crammed them in my pockets - and held a few also. Next time I will bring the container I usual gather them in. But I like Jenna’s basket idea, just need to make it so it can hold more.

I have seen those egg aprons also,

I need to run the mower over the yard, but there’s too many Rocks in it! IMG_3956.jpeg

I am NOT happy
This morning Samara was waddling and kept trying to preen her bum fluff. Finally got a good look and she had poop just everywhere.
Needed a bath.

She seems to like this whole bath and blowdry thing.

Really snuggling into my hand.

Blow drying. She's still damp and camping out in the bathroom for now.

She appreciated it at least

Post bath before drying
It was really caked in her fluff. I hope this doesn't happen again, I really don't like having her in the house even if it's necessary.
Also it happened overnight? She was clean yesterday when I did a booty check.
it starts happening regularly, I would trim her butt feathers down- just where they regularly get poopy.

But also, her visit inside was SO cute! She looks right at home! 🥰

Don't feel bad. It's colder than you usually deal with and system shocking.

Once it hits close to zero (F), anything colder than that feels about the same: REALLY COLD. Even a slight breeze makes it worse. You layer up, cover every bit of exposed skin you can, put a scarf over your mouth and nose, take your glasses off so you can see (they will fog up no matter what), and do what you must outside as quickly as possible. Even a decorative fabric scarf helps keep the air from knifing your lungs. The only critters moving around seem to be the magpies and crows. Keeping the kettle hot and snuggling down under a throw on the couch are a big part of dealing with it too.

I don't much like the heat above 85F, but I can deal with it. Add humidity to it and I'm miserable. (I suspect my Scandinavian heritage plays into that a bit.)

“Only” 40 pages behind….popping in just to say I have been enjoying tracking that little truck, I think this is the same one, & noting its various positions (upright, upside down, etc), ever since you joined the thread! ❤️ 🚚

Your speeds are excellent! We average between 46-59 most of the time.
My child has claimed the egg holder for herself so I need to make another 😉

And a perfect accessory for a kiddo and her toys 😊

I set my mum up on her TV with the firestick, watching a movie, I just did a speed test and it’s dropped to 7.7Mbps, not sure if that’s normal with watching a movie not having ever streamed anything but n the firestick before. It’s also snowing here so not sure if that’s an issue or not.

Just checking on the chooks sleeping, guess the ladies feel that the 4” higher beam is higher up than the roosting ledge and all must roost there 😊
