I can meet you at the border for lunch 😆 I am sure I can get them across noooo problem!

But yes they have a nice selection, not sure if it is straight run though for the chooks. I might revisit there again.
Smuggling chooks across the border of US/Canada? Shame.👮‍♂️ What are you gonna do, throw them across the border “here catch!” :idunno :clap

Temperature dependent sex ratio is recognized in reptiles.
Here is a legit scientific study that demonstrated it happens in turkeys.
It seems quite likely that cold results in more males - the paper gives temperatures used in their study.

The article I read was about temp exposure before incubation actually starts. Eggs were then incubated at standard temps.

Interesting article. Didn't know Australia had a turkey. Being as it doesn't incubate its eggs, but let's the environment take care of that, not sure if it's related to the birds in the Americas.

Well I was thinking of shoving them in a Kleenex box under the seat of my truck…. Less obvious than chucking them across I would say!

Try warm water - mine like that, and they really like the stuff I rinse my feed buckets and mix buckets with - warm wild water 😁

Those are really nice photos of grandma I haven’t seen those before. 💕😊
They can drink water. They just don't want to while I'm here.
Also, I have used warm water.
