Her feathers were beautiful until they pulled them off!

Wow! I don’t have that issue with any of my silkies feathered legs and feet, and the others.

Wonder why they would be so naughty?
I don't know. What I do know is those very sweet Buff Orpingtons try to kill the Bigs every chance they get. I've seen one standing on Agathae rooster-style while pecking her super hard.
When Victoria died, we thought it was the gas smell from the gas meter (it was leaking and they were fixing it and it made a big stink), so we brought the Bigs and the Littles into my office. Those Buff Orpingtons cornered Josey and tried to peck her to death.

People say one thing about a chicken breed's personality but it really varies on how they're raised and the other breeds mixed with them.

But if they put the slot machine in a convenient place, you've got to have a strong will to not put one penny in there.
Well, it’s a bit more complicated than that (addiction to gambling I mean), and while I have no interest in gambling (I don’t see the attraction personally), for the majority of persons who go out a couple times a year for dinner and some ‘games of chance’ it can be a fun time out.

The problem is with those who do have a proclivity towards any sort of addiction. Those persons I tell ‘do not even tempt your self’. And that’s were one would need that ‘strong will’ - to not start with one penny.
