I apologize for being such a Debbie Downer - I am more than annoyed with the snow and cold, and tired.

But I spent some quality time with the chooks, froze my butt off and had to bring them back in.

The poor Azurs are so petite with tiny feet and legs they have a hard time with the cold also - poor Flopsy - I almost had to carry her back to the barn. But she made it back, a warm up in the straw was required

Estrella was a tiny pup that was fighting off parvo last spring. She's a beautiful, crazy, sweet girl now.

Wow has she ever grown into a lovely girl

Oh gosh, your neck of the woods must have a different culture than mine: if anyone here is sick, it’s now rude to knowingly go to a gathering.
Before the pandemic though, how much “sick” you were able to put up with and still get out the door to work/functions was like a show of strength.

I’m not really sick, but I am exhausted from no sleep and yard work. I have a lot of property that needs attention. The 12 acres is done, but my backyard and front yard are still pretty weedy!
I’m not going to do anything today except sleep
