I had to let Sir Jaffar out to see his harem. But I had to chase off that rooster from next door again. I don’t mind him coming over, but he has bloodied Sir Jaffar twice already. The chicken wire I put up did not detour that rooster from hopping over the 6 ft fence. My chooks like to hang out under the porch, where it’s quiet and warm.

We think he got hit this morning. No visible injuries other then he back end looks and feels funny. Something is wrong with his pelvis and potentially back. Dang it Jack, I could choke you for this.

We think he got hit this morning. No visible injuries other then he back end looks and feels funny. Something is wrong with his pelvis and potentially back. Dang it Jack, I could choke you for this.

Oh no! Hope he is ok. I had a cat who was hit by a car, her pelvis was broke and she had to stay on crate rest for 6 weeks.

The first 5 weeks she was good but that last week she was feeling good and wanted out. I would let her out for a while but not let her jump up on things. I think letting her out a bit really helped with her getting better, I put some boxes as steps up to my bed and the chesterfield so she didn’t have to jump up.

Here’s hoping Jack just has some soft tissue injury or worst case needs some ‘stall’ rest
