Petite and only just getting wing feathers.

It doesn’t look good 😬

And since I was at it, I checked the OE as well. Mina is the only one with nonexistent wattles! The others either have them, or have cute little placeholder wattles but that have in fact grown.
They are cute little baby chickens! That’s the definitive answer. Otherwise, the little I know, I’d say the wattles look small still so can’t be sure. Maybe in another week or two it’ll be clearer. What’s the plan if they are roos?

If Jaffar is strong enough to crow in my face several times, then he’s strong enough to go see his ladies in the coop! :old The little squirt can get loud.
He did eat a little bit of feed and had some water.
Good sign. How is his comb now? Maybe he is having heart problems? That could explain why his difficulties are intermittent. Could the dark poops be dark cecal poop?

I just candles the Ayam Cemani and Bolt eggs. Both of Bolt’s eggs are developing.
I had six Ayam Cemani eggs. The first time I candled, one had no development so I threw it away.
Two out of the five remaining are not developing. Hopefully the three that are developing will hatch into strong chicks.
I’m keeping the two other eggs in just in case. Mom swore she saw one moving. I didn’t but I’ll do it to make her happy. I’m surprised she’s willing to take that risk though. Over the summer an egg exploded… she was ticked off about it.

WOOHOO!

I made it in time for the palindrome 😊

What day are Ayam eggs at?
