He’s doing well, last night I trimmed off all the crusted feathers and cleaned off the other greatness feathers so that there was no blood showing, I also plucked out the ones the brats were picking at. And sprayed him green again

This morning he was in full control of his harem.

That’s a great idea! I don’t have a water issue it’s usually quite damp here.

I like roses but after a heavy rain the petals all drop off! And then there are the dreaded Japanese beetles- they love the roses, good thing the chickens love the beetles!

RoyalChick’s Tassels seems to have given up the broody idea also.

And that white suv was naughty and tried to drive up the oncoming lanes while everyone was going home from the eclipse - he got boxed in and couldn’t go anywhere - some people think they are entitled!
