The world is full of small unexpected blessings. These chicks are a blessing to Jaffar. I am sure they are a source of comfort and a newly given purpose to him in his twilight era. We have all known for a while now he was special. To see a elderly blind rooster who has to ones knowledge never been around chicks before adopt them, that shows just how special he is.

I'm Bushed.
I tried baking store ready mix sourdough today but the amount of interruptions almost ruined it. These people make appointments then send someone else who turns up late, book another appointment then call to ask if it can be put back until the end if next month.

So that kitchen sink I was promised last September then again this week has now been put off again, permanently
Same said for the replacement kitchen that was happening in 2017 ,2022 ,2023 , then this year and now next year.

This new appointment I have to try and convince them to do it this year because my kitchen sink and worktops are toxic . I'm not counting my chickens on that.

Anyhow this is what happened to my bread, it was impossible too actually bake it after 4 hours of prepping and it was perfect

But It got beheaded with all the delays and non stop interruptions kept me from taking the lid offbut guess what, it tastes really yummy

Not orpington then. Buff/white rock or leghorn are possible. Inquisitive has me leaning toward leghorn/mix along with general shape. She'd darling!
