Integration didn’t go too well for us. The little ones totally annoyed the bigger ones and I had to separate them when the pecking started. :(
Try to put in places for the chicks to hide if you can. Hopefully they will soon get used to each other.

Pony Sunday

This lovely creature was found on the barn door last Wednesday morning.

I am trying to remember.
I definitely gave her antibiotics (Baytril) after the second bout (two months before she died) and she definitely stayed well and chirpy until her last few days. What I can’t remember is if I treated her the first time around.
I didn’t make a note of it - but I am not reliable at record keeping.
I will dig around a bit to see if I can figure it out.
You may have found it already -but I would be willing to bet that you posted on here if you did. I do remember that visit - you were certainly NOT going to euthanize at that time as she didn't seem in pain. I remember thinking 'good for you" turns out (imho), good for Maggie, too - as she did seem to have a very happy/chicken contented life for 2 more years thanks to that decision! [Well, contented when she wasn't yelling at the hooman servant for not being up to par with the servitude at times, LOL]
