It's a chicken!
Their names are Little Chicken. Both of them - they are hilarious when I call them they both come running up to me and try to climb / fly up my legs. I have to crouch down so they can fly up on my knee - gosh they are the friendliest chicks I have ever seen!

I’m concerned that my Wyandotte is a roo or not. Before I left, he was acting very much a rooster. But today I am told that he has been cowering away like a Pullet. I’m hoping to find him a him when I get home!
I am sure he is a he. And a gorgeous he for sure ♥️😊

Correction. It’s a pretty chicken!
Tonight I had hoped they would roost on the ledge but Henny Penny decided she wanted to roost there, and of course she is hogging the whole thing.

So they are once again in n the wall of their pen.

Tonight they are together between Pepper and Jaffarra.

Reminds me of Primula. She has a terrible need to get on top of everything... including my head. Gonna have chicken poop in my hair soon!

They are just so friendly - I can’t believe they were factory hatched and spent a week in a store before they came home here!

I am really hoping they are both pullets ♥️

I am confident the lighter colored one, Little Chicken 1 is a pullet. I hope you keep her. Ole Momma Hen had so much potential to be a friendly chicken most of the time if her circumstances had been different. Little Chicken 1 may be a mean broody in the future, but a sweet heart when she is not raising babies.
