Maybe the heat is getting to her, my gang is extremely grumpy, the horses are not great either. Poor Reenie came in tonight ate a bit then went down in her stall, had me freaked out a bit thinking maybe colic. But I think she was just exhausted from the heat. I have her fan on her and the other two again tonight.
I also have the fan in the hen houses, and the summer house.
I bought an evaporative cooler it arrived today, but with the extreme humidity here right now it’s useless for me to even try it. This weather is even grim for me and I love the heat and humidity. But this is just miserable weather for all of us.
Not supposed to break until Saturday.
Today is rain a couple times and all that did was raise the humidity levels, it like a rainforest here, breathing is like being in a steamy shower. The mosquitoes are loving it.
Oh and of course the guy who does my hay cut it last Friday, and it poured rain today as he was trying to bale it. I was going to drive by his place to see what he had done, but he is on a gravel road and I didn’t want Ol Blue to get all muddy
better I don’t know anyways.Tonight I had a hard time getting everyone settled, I finally just left them to it.
